There is a saying that real estate is like porn for women. I have to agree. We spend countless hours online surfing MLS listings for homes on the market we would never consider buying. We go to open houses and peek into people’s drawers and closets. And we religiously check recently sold homes on sites like Zillow and Trulia to see how much our neighbors paid for them – sometimes people we know (admit it, you’ve done this at least once!). My, how fascinating it is to see how other people live!
At present time, my husband and I are actually looking for a new home. The voyeurism is reaching a fever pitch, though I am currently rationalizing my nosy behavior since we are technically “in the market.”
That’s why when I came across the “Bad MLS Photos” section on a great blog called Hooked on Houses, I knew I had to share it here. A little Friday humor, and an apology if you recognize any of these not-so-fabulous real estate photos.
