If you have (or had) small children, odds are you’ve got one or several plastic step stools scattered throughout your house. They perform a very important task – helping kids do things independently, like go to the bathroom, wash their hands, reach items in their closet or dresser, help in the kitchen, etc. Unfortunately, however functional and essential, they’re typically not very attractive.
That’s why I love the stylish options Land of Nod offers – especially their Squared Up Step Stool. It has a vaguely modern industrial style, but could play nice with just about any decor.
Made of powder-coated steel, it comes in four colors (note: the royal blue pictured above has been replaced by metallic gold), is stackable, and doubles as seating for their (or any) play tables.
I also love that it is 10″ high. In my own personal experience, many step stools don’t provide enough of a boost for a toddler to, for example, fully reach the faucet and wash their own hands. Those 3-4 extra inches can really make a big difference.
The other, quite obvious thing the Squared Up Step Stool has over its plastic counterparts is style. These stools can actually add to the aesthetic value of your room, rather than detracting from it!
Oh yes! And the colours of the stools are just gorgeous. I’d love to get one for my home.
